Beavers represent our youngest members, generally those in the range of 5-7.
During our weekly meetings we do games in or outside and crafts.
Many evenings, these activities are centered around a theme that can focus on nature, skills or other matters.
Several meetings each year take place in other locations, where we do activities such as bouldering, canoeing or other outings.
Every year we have several weekend camps where we visit a special location such as a museum or a zoo and stay overnight, or go to a camp site (cabins or tents). We do 1-2 sleepovers at our regular meeting location to allow these youngest adventurers to test the waters before venturing out further.
Beavers meet every Tuesday at kisêwâtisiwin School (formerly Dan Knott) from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
kisêwâtisiwin School (formerly Dan Knott) - 1434 80 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6K 2C6
